Marvel Comics is a US media and entertainment company that, along with DC Comics, is considered the best-known publisher in the comic book industry. The predecessor of Marvel Comics, Timely Publications (later renamed Timely Comics), was founded in 1939 by publisher Martin Goodman aiming to profit from the growing popularity of comic books - especially those starring superheroes.
The "Spider-Man #600 " edition was created by the comic book artist from the Marvel universe John Romita Junior.
