About Corinna Rosteck
Corinna Rosteck, who grew up in Hamelin, Germany, and Ibiza, is a freelance artist specialising in photography, video, and installation. After studying and receiving prestigious scholarships in London, Paris, New York, and Japan, she now lives and works in Berlin.
The artist has developed special printing techniques on reflective materials and surfaces that are unique in terms of light technology. Her pictures of water explore a variety of states of matter, light refractions, and reflections; with bodies investigating the boundary between underwater and above water. She is concerned with the transition, the dynamic, and constantly endangered balance, visually enhanced by multiple exposures and overlays in the perception and transformation of time.
Corinna Rosteck has successfully realised art-in-architecture projects for renowned companies across Germany. Her works can be seen in numerous exhibitions in Germany and abroad as well as at international art fairs and are in public collections worldwide.
A form of presentation favoured by professional photographers and exhibition organizers. Increasingly, artists are creating works for this carrier made of high-tech composite aluminium. The metallic surface creates a synthesis with the colours. White areas of the image are shimmering matt-metallic, depending on the light source, giving the image an elegant and puristic appearance. Thanks to the direct colour pigmentation the details are depicted precisely. Alu-Dibond is long-lasting and resistant.
