His speciality is painted music. The artist Jürgen Born became known for his "Jazz Colours" series. Old photos of jazz legends and concert memories serve as models. This work depicts the African-American blues singer and guitarist Sam Hopkins (Lightning Hopkins), who died in 1982 and is considered an influential representative of Texas blues.

Das Bild ist toll, allerdings ist die Spiegelung durch die Glasoberfläche schlecht, man muss sehr genau schauen wo man das Bild aufhängt damit man keine Spiegelungen bekommt. Entspiegeltes Glas wäre da sehr hilfreich....
Bild ist wirklich sehr beeindruckend, die Farben sind sehr frisch und leuchtend und kommen sehr gut raus. ein klitzekleiner Nachteil: Durch die Acrylplatte spiegelt sich Lichteinfall im Bild und verträgt gar kein schräg einwirkendes Licht. Trotzdem 5 Sterne.

Jürgen Born (born in 1955) paints music in brilliant oil colours, using his unmistakable, highly expressive technique: The atmosphere of the session is palpable again. Sometimes they are memories of concerts, sometimes the German painter is inspired by historical photos. The German painter has devoted himself to jazz, fusing music and painting.
A form of presentation favoured by professional photographers and exhibition organizers. Increasingly, artists are creating works for this carrier made of high-tech composite aluminium. The metallic surface creates a synthesis with the colours. White areas of the image are shimmering matt-metallic, depending on the light source, giving the image an elegant and puristic appearance.
