About Mascha Rose
Mascha Rose was born in 1975 in Galicia. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, she moved with her family to Austria, and in 1999, she relocated to Berlin. There she worked as a waitress, fashion designer and portrait painter. For some time now, she has been living in rural Brandenburg and devotes herself exclusively to art under the pseudonym Rose.
The fine colour silkscreen prints by Mascha Rose are real gems. The figures staged in her works are at times lively, sometimes dreamy, but always mysterious. Rose designs her figures in the style of ink painting and interrupts the black and white reduction with coloured backgrounds and elements. Although the works are silk-screen printed, they convey the artistic signature of Mascha Rose and make each piece seem unique.
