About Ariane Boss
Born in 1972, she studied at the Berlin University of the Arts and was a master student of Professor Petrick.
In Berlin's young art scene, she is one of the few who have decisively chosen, alongside painting, woodcut, and lithography as an important means of artistic expression. Similar to Henri Rousseau or René Magritte, Ariane Boss' works are not pictorial reality but rather poetic ciphers and surreal dreams.
She lives and works in Berlin.
