Detailed description
Necklace "Gold Discs"
Colombia was discovered by Amerigo Vespucci, not by Christopher Columbus - yet this jewellery is considered "pre-Columbian". Our replica originates from the Gold Museum in Bogotá and can be traced back to a grave finding.
This piece of jewellery shows pre-Columbian America in its simplest form: 7 small plates made of 24-carat gold-plated metal elements line this necklace. Each plate is 2.3 x 1.6 cm in size. Chain length 94 cm, can also be worn doubled.
